Sign up and fill in your basic details. You will upload a photo of your driver's license so your host knows who they are renting to. This is a one-time setup — your profile carries over to every future booking on the platform.
Step 02
Search available vehicles by date, pickup location, and vehicle type. Every listing shows exactly what the host charges. No fees added on top at checkout. Pick the car that fits your trip and select your rental dates.
Step 03
Before booking you will link your personal auto insurance policy. This is how the rental is covered — your own policy extends to the vehicle for the duration of your trip. If you are not sure whether your policy covers rental vehicles, a quick call to your insurer will confirm it. Most personal policies do.
Step 04
Confirm your reservation and pay through our secure Stripe-powered checkout. Every dollar you pay goes directly to your host. AetherAI does not take a cut of the booking. You get a confirmation with all your trip details right away.
Step 05
24 hours before your reservation starts, you will complete a simple check-in: upload a fresh photo of yourself and your driver's license. That is it. Once that is done, you are confirmed and your host will coordinate pickup with you directly through the platform.
Most personal auto insurance policies extend to rental vehicles. When you rent through AetherAI, you are connecting your own existing coverage rather than purchasing a separate plan. It keeps things simple and keeps costs where you expect them.

We are currently in discussions with insurance partners to offer embedded coverage directly through AetherAI. When it launches, renters will be able to add protection at checkout without needing to rely solely on their personal policy. We will share details as soon as they are confirmed.
The day before your reservation, you will complete a simple check-in. It takes about two minutes and confirms you are the person who made the booking. After that, your host will reach out to arrange pickup.
This step exists to protect both you and your host. It is fast, it is straightforward, and it is the same process every time.

Once submitted, your check-in is complete. Your host will contact you to coordinate a pickup time and location.
AetherAI does not take a percentage of what you pay. The host sets their rate, you pay that rate, and they receive it in full.
